Multi-agency ICD linter: surface which heritage limit governs an interface before a joint review stalls on polite disagreement.

StandardsLint is my Multicultural anchor: lint engineering interface contracts against NASA, ECSS, JAXA, and ISRO illustrative heritage packs in one pass.

Heritage limits encode whose flight history counts as evidence; tutorial mode on mobility avionics at 85 °C shows which agency ceilings fail (NASA illustrative 70 °C vs JAXA 80 °C) before a joint review stalls.

Scope · Reflective capstone

StandardsLint is a GCSP reflective capstone distilled from NASA L'SPACE MCAMCA interface control work and multinational team experience on L'SPACE and University Rover ChallengeURC. The lint engine, conflict explainer, and rubric scoring are real (25 pytest tests). Numeric limits in NASA/ECSS/JAXA/ISRO packs are illustrative unless verbatim from published standards, labeled in README headers.

People · Teams and communities

Multicultural evidence here is not only standards bodies on paper. L'SPACE MCA Team 19 and NPWEE Team 10 mixed students from different campuses and disciplines; on NPWEE I peer-reviewed competing submissions from teams I did not belong to. URC is an international university competition. MESA mentoring bridges faculty gatekeeping culture and students without insider knowledge. USC Engineers Without Borders chapter work supports international community water, sanitation, and infrastructure projects. KumonScan serves operators in a global education franchise.

Because NASA ICDs · Agency divergence

On NASA L'SPACE MCALunar volatile-prospecting rover I wrote interface control documents where a thermal margin NASA considers conservative can violate a partner heritage constraint. The disagreement is cultural and institutional, not a unit conversion bug.

HotFire-Ledger formalized procedural thresholds on the test stand. StandardsLint formalizes the same question for joint-agency design reviews: where do specs conflict, and what resolution path exists?

Build · Lint engine and conflicts

Joint reviews stall when two teams cite flight heritage and neither knows which limit governs the interface. ConflictExplainerSurfaces divergent limits with suggested_resolution text prints the disagreement before anyone defends a waiver in person.

Tutorial mode on `examples/rover_thermal.yaml` runs all illustrative packs side by side: mobility avionics at 85 °C fails NASA's 70 °C ceiling while passing JAXA's 80 °C ceiling, which is the argument in table form.

Handoff · Who reaches the lab

Standards and benchmarks assume the builder already has a seat at the table. USC MESAMathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement: outreach program for underrepresented students mentoring showed me the earlier failure mode: students who never get a readable path to research. That became LabMapResearch-pathway OS with LegibilityScore and mentor privacy floors.

What I learned

A thermal margin NASA considers conservative can violate a partner heritage constraint. Multicultural engineering is surfacing divergent constraints, not translating units.
